As we soon approach Fall or Autumn, we can feel the crispness in the air, and we see the leaves begin to change colors. Soon they will start to fall away from the branches. The summer fruits and vegetables that we have enjoyed are no longer available to us. The beach waters may not be as tepid, and the summer flowers begin to die off. This change takes place, as a part of nature’s cycle. Things tend to “fall away” as nature makes room for new possibilities, new opportunities, and new growth.
Now is the perfect time for us ~ as humans to do the same. It’s a time to observe ~ reflect ~ and choose. Are there things in your life that you can let fall away? Are there things in your life that are of no use to you anymore? Are there things in your life that no longer serve your well-being?
Perhaps it’s time for you to say “YES” to self-growth. It’s time for you to say “YES” to live your best life. So here are a few things you may want to allow yourself to let “fall away.”
- Resistance to change
- Expectations
- Judgment or Blame
- Excuses
- False securities
- False insecurities
- Regrets
- Poor habits
The energy of “Fall” is about letting go, as do the trees of their leaves and the summer flowers. Life offers you an abundance of choices. You have the opportunity to choose the direction or path to walk in this life. Options that will open doors and bring endless possibilities to your life. All these options are possible when we make room ~ by allowing the unnecessary to “fall away.”
Sometimes, this process can be bittersweet. Change is not always easy, and letting go can often be difficult. I always advise one to begin slowly. Look at what’s weighs you down. What can you let fall-away that will free up some of your energy and that will allow you to create balance as you flourish in your life? Honor yourself ~ listen to that voice within ~ that voice that speaks volumes ~ without a sound. What’s holding you back?
“We let things fall away ~ as we make room for new ventures and opportunities. It’s all part of life’s cycle. Look beyond your mind. ”
