I’m sure you’ve all heard the saying “You can choose your friends, but you can’t choose your family”. Well, technically, this may be true. However, you can choose who you invite to be a part of your life.

Do you realize that your thoughts control your life? Yes, your thoughts can shape your life. When you hold negative thoughts, you make life much harder than necessary. Negative thoughts hold you back from accomplishing and achieving your goals. They can also sabotage your relationships as well as your happiness.
Even the most confident people get a visit from “Self-Doubt”. This visitor; and I use the term visitor because it is not a permanent condition or state of being; can cause you to second guess yourself. It’s a temporary lack of self-confidence.
As described philosophically in the dictionary; “ego is the part of the psychic apparatus that experiences and reacts to the outside world and thus mediates between the primitive drives of the id (that which resides in the unconscious) and the demands of the social and physical environment.”
And with that being said, ego is part of who we are, and often part of your “self-image”.
Bliss is a state of being. It’s not a place or a destination. It’s an overwhelming awareness of peace, joy and well-being. It’s your inner connection to everyone and everything that you love. I suppose you could say that it’s a magnified, deep internal feeling of happiness and joy.
Does this scenario sound at all familiar? It’s time to start the day. Wake up and rush to get out of the house, only to sit in traffic while on your way to work. You finally arrive and you’re confronted with obligations and challenges of the day.
Belief is a mental representation or expression of your personal opinion. And it’s by these beliefs that influence the way we live our lives. They can lead you to the choices you make both in your personal and professional life.
The world we live in is loud and noisy. Seldom, during our hectic days do we have the opportunity to hear “silence” or be “silent” The noise outside, causing these distractions, may be from the traffic moving, cars honking their horns, even dogs barking.
This may seem like a simple question to answer, but the fact is, that it can be somewhat complicated. There are so many variances that play a significant role, as well as different theories.
While we seem to think that we may be hard-wired in some way; that would explain to us that our behavior patterns may be pre-determined by the nature of who we are, or by our DNA.
Conflicts can be triggered at most any time and for the most insignificant reasons. Unfortunately, we can’t always choose the time or the place they arrive. Conflicts can happen in the workplace or at home, and with family, friends or with any personal relationship.
