It’s not always easy to feel comfortable with who you really are. We tend to be our own worst critics at times. I am sure that you have heard the quote “Beauty is in the eye of the beholder”. Do you really know what that means?
Through our life, we tend to cling to what’s familiar or what we feel comfortable with, not wanting to change. When change occurs, we might feel a sense of loss; exposing emotions of sadness or anxiety. And where does that come from?
As humans, we all have habits. Some are good while others are not so good, and maybe even labeled as bad. Those so called habits can dominate your lifestyle, and often dictate your well-being. It’s by habit you reside with your daily patterns.
So often we encounter people in our lives that are just plain mean. I call it having a “short fuse”. Flipping someone off, telling someone off or just being rude seems to be too common today. People are often so angry, and for reasons you may not be able to see.
It’s essential for our own happiness that we all find balance in our lives. By living a more balanced life, greater energy goes into the goals you have set and therefore increases your productivity. It allows you the ability to be more focused on your daily tasks.

There are events in our lives that can cause us to “Play Victim”. Sometimes we think that it empowers us, and that we are able to manipulate someone or a situation. The fact is, that it’s just the opposite. When you act or behave like you have been victimized, you are actually the oppressor.
Life itself; everyday is a learning experience. Circumstances and situations occur; which causes life as you know it to shift. It may cause feelings to change and that’s okay. Sometimes we change out of necessity, sometimes out of desire.
Every situation, challenge or relationship has hidden messages and it’s up to you to figure out what they are and address each one of them.
I already know the answer, but I will address it anyway. Have you ever felt sadness or heaviness in your heart? Have you ever experienced a broken heart? We all have from time to time in our lives, whether it’s caused from the actions of others, or ourselves.
We all experience pain in our lives, at one time or another. There are many different kinds of pain, and none of us are exempt from any of them. The pain I want to talk about today is emotional and personal pain.
