Integrity is when your thoughts, your words, and your actions are all aligned. It’s also about doing the right thing, even when no one is watching. It’s when you live and behave congruently with strong core values. A quality that comes from the inside yet shines on the outside. When you live with integrity, you never have to second-guess your intentions.
Staying true to your values, morals and ethical principles is the key to being your authentic self with sound and moral character. And the good thing about that is that no one can ever take that away from you. It’s personal, it’s yours and you own it! It’s a state of being whole, entire, and undiminished, regardless of what others may think.
Sometimes in life, we’re confronted with choices or decisions that may seem difficult. Don’t hold back, stay true to yourself. The important thing to remember is always to stand up for what you believe in. Know what’s meaningful to you, in your heart of hearts, and let that lead your mind.
Let your integrity preserve who you are. Reach into your emotional intelligence and acknowledge your true feelings, without judgment. Be honest with yourself. You build your reputation with integrity, by not compromising your core principles for anyone, at any time.
Living with integrity allows you to live life as your best self. Carry this state of being with you always, both in your personal and professional life. You will maintain an excellent sense of self-respect while earning the respect of others. Integrity is a virtue that you should continue to strive for, all the days of your life.
Having integrity is one of the most significant characteristics any human can possess.
It’s your greatest asset.
